Please enjoy our story!

A safe, compassionate space designed for honest venting, shared guidance, and heart-to-heart solidarity.

Welcome to our family’s honest corner of the internet—a judgment‑free space where my fiancé and I share our real life as we support our two children with disabilities, tell the truths, triumphs, and tears. We always stand together through the hard days, celebrate every win, and find connection, joy, and humor in the in‑between, so that you never have to feel alone.

May your coffee be warm, your heart warmer, and your hope stubborn.

And never forget, you matter and are never alone <3

Beautifully Broken

Today, I'd like to share with you a paragraph I recently read called Beautifully Broken. When I read this, it just made me feel so many feelings. Inspiration, guilt, and thinking more deeply about my spiritual journey. I...we all need to remind ourselves daily how tough and strong we are, yet we don't have to be strong and tough all of the time. Do not be too hard on yourself, and give yourself much grace daily. So...I hope that you enjoy this as much as I did!

Let go of the idea of perfection--you are not perfect, you are real. Let yourself be flawed, and allow yourself to make mistakes. Recognize that you're not always going to have it all together. Sometimes your heart is going to break, you are going to get hurt, you are going to feel pain. Don't apologize for being broken--every time you break you become a little more alive. You become more open with yourself. You become exposed to your sensibility. Every crack tells you a little more about yourself--your strength, your courage, your tenacity--what you're made of. Do not hide these pieces from the world, they are a part of who you are. You see, the most beautiful people are beautifully broken. their hearts are heavy but they love the deepest. They have seen the dark but they appreciate everything that shines. They're compassionate, understanding, and empathetic. Beautiful hearts just don't happen--and you my dear are going to show the world just how beautiful you are.

When Rough Days Are Present

The truth is, rough days are a part of life. They don’t always come with a warning, and they certainly don’t always fit into our plans. Sometimes we have to keep showing up even when we don’t feel our best. We still have responsibilities, people who need us, and a life that keeps moving—even when we desperately wish we could press pause.

Welcome to Our Story

Good evening from the Midwest! I wanted to start this blog/journal with a bit of backstory about my family and me. I was a single mom for 13 years until my amazing best friend of 25 years and I finally took the leap—we’re now engaged to be married. Life has been life‑ing, especially lately, and there was a lot of turbulence along the way. But today, I have a happy family. I have a man who treats me like a queen every single day—finally, ha! My kids are seeing their mom respected, loved, and treated the way every human deserves. It truly is worth the wait. Happiness comes and goes, karma does its thing, and you can grow into who you’ve always aspired to be.
